Say hello to my brand new studio workstation. I still have to install a couple of rack mounts but the desk itself is finally put together (after four hours of assembly). I’ve been using a standard computer desk for the past few years, which is fine for everyday office use, but it wasn’t an ideal set up for recording. On the contrary, my new desk (the Studio RTA Producer Station) meets all my needs and has plenty of extra room for me to add equipment over time. Now I just have to get the rest of my studio set up…
Had a great time catching up with David from Blue, Seriously at the Radio Milwaukee Music Awards last night. Highlight of the evening: a killer set from Trapper Schoepp and the Shades, who won Album of the Year. Congrats to them and all the other winners and nominees in what was a stellar year for Milwaukee music!
